Overdosage/Outcome

Sildenafil ( Viagra ) will only be able to get and maintain an erection if they are very sexually stimulated. If they are not stimulated, the erection may not be formed enough for satisfactory sexual intercourse.

Contraindications

Viagra ( Sildenafil Citrate >100mg/5ml) is at increased risk of side effects with Viagra ( Sildenafil <20mg/5ml) and should not be used in patients with known or suspected erectile dysfunction. Patients with diabetes, recent history of stroke, heart attack, unstable angina, having high blood pressure, liver or kidney impairment, if taking nitrates, if taking riociguat (Adempas ) or if taking any other type of medication for pulmonary hypertension should not take Viagra ( Sildenafil <100mg/5ml) as it could increase the risk of severe right heart failure. In patients with mild to moderate ED, sildenafil ( Viagra ) could cause hypotension.

Special Precautions

Peyronie’s disease, which can damage the penis if not treated. This is not a common cause of side effects in men who have taken sildenafil ( Viagra ) since it is thought to be caused by incorrect dosing of sildenafil ( Viagra ). These patients should have no contact with the patient, and the patient's health is not affected.
